As a journalist, my work has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, New York Times, NPR, Washington Post, Time and more. For two years I was also the managing editor and video producer of Korea Exposé, an independent media that highlighted underrepresented Korean stories in English.

As a filmmaker, I directed eight short films for InterV, a short documentary startup, where I was the creative director for three years. My films have been shown at the Korean American Film Festival in New York, Minnesota Film Festival, a special screening at DMZ Docs, and more.

I also do other fun things, including but not limited to: teaching media and journalism, commentating on K-pop and the Korean music scene, translating in both Korean and English, and last but not least, organizing, moderating, and speaking at events.
